I created this small mask to place on the underside beak of the Crooked Beak of the Heavens. The hawk is often selected as a lineage crest, and also frequently carved as a frontlet for headgear worn by chiefs. The hawk represents all the positive qualities of nobility: integrity, fidelity, pride, strength of purpose, loyalty, far seeing vision, and warrior bravery.
